For answering the second question and in total agreement this next series yet connect must be answered or questioned determined by your outlook...... Is there a heaven and hell?

  1. Wow...that's like asking if there is a yin and yan. Yes I believe there is. However to explain why might prove to be somewhat harder. For the most part I think that most believe because we are raised to believe through teachings from our elders and scare tactics. I can still remember being told that only the "good" children get to go to heaven but if you're "bad" you would whine up in that " other" place.
Over the years I have found myself believing that it's a combination of two things. First kind of like a check and balance. In that we do make heaven to be a place of honor for the good things we have done to mankind and nature. Where as hell is for those who have wronged other and nature. Second is that heaven and hell is what we make it. What I mean is that each of us have our own ideas of what heaven and hell might be like for us, which came from our own personal life.
So I guess what I am saying is that the belief of heaven and hell is what helps us to maintain balance in our life as well as giving a place for our spiritual beings to dwell.
And although I could probably throw a curve ball into the mix...I think I will leave it for another time

  2. Interesting, I am not going to give my views on this but ask another question....Your last statement open Pandora ’s Box. If you are saying there is a place for our spiritual beings to dwell, are you saying they do not move on....I understand that is not what you meant but what was type which is my whole point. I said I would not reply but what fun would that be however I woud look into the topic of Astral Plane.

  3. No i' m not saying we don't move on. I believe that there is a place we go when we leave this earth and are left there for a period of time. I believe it to be a place where our last conscience decision is to be made...a choice if you will. Where we are met by our gods/ goddesses and finally our supreme being. It is there where it is decided to where we will go...heaven, or hell or even back to begin again or complete something we hadn't.

  4. My 2 cents ~ Why do we need the idea of a heaven or hell in our current reality? As a "fear" motivator so that we choose "right" from "wrong?" It seems to me that if we focus our energy on making this moment, this time, this reality that we are living, a productive and positive one ~ is what is needed. Not to say that mistakes will not be made, but they can be lessons learned. Energy does not dissipate, but transforms. However the energy that we call "self" transforms when this physical body ends ~ is in the unknown future. Do we need to imagine "places" to guide us? I think not. Would it be better to bring positivity to our "now?" I think so!
